People bought it because it looked right with jeans, then discovered it held up through a double. That is the version of the Stagger we kept building on, and it is why the current line leans toward the people who spend their day standing.
Since 1993 we have made footwear on the idea that style starts from the ground up, and the Stagger is a straightforward expression of that. The shape does not change much between builds.
